Thanks for the article. I find sexism and racism in every lyric on Black radio. What do you think about Women now using their sexuality as a weapon? Is that an advancement from prior ideas of victimization or not?
by the way, the term Me love you long time was also used in the Song “me so horny” by the Two Live Crew.

Thanks for this post. Very true and intersting points you’re making.

I’m familiar with that term, but have not seen Full Metal Jacket so I don’t know where else it may have been used, prior to that movie, but I suspect it has. It is unmistable in its sickening meaning I think, in it’s part of a cruel colonisation both of Asian peoples, but more specifically women, whether one has see the movie or not, what it says is clear.
